The Ecclesiastical Store
These are often found near cathedrals, such as Wippell’s in the lovely Cathedral Close at Exeter, my own home city. Items for sale include church furniture, fabrics and robes, silver and brassware, altar frontals, wall hangings, pulpit falls plus communion wines and breads. They are open to the public as well for hymnals, bibles and other books, prints, sheet music and CDs, religious software, candles, incense, cards, calendars with Saints’ Days and devotional diaries.
