Floris Perfumery

Introduction
Serving Royalty since 1820, Bouquet de La Reine was Mr Floris’s wedding present for Queen Victoria in 1840. It was added to the range in 1860. An adaptation marked HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee in 2002. Current directors and others are 9th generation descendents of Juan Floris.

 At 89 Jermyn Street in London from 1730. Over the fascia, George IV’s coat of arms was the first Royal Warrant in 1820 for Smooth Pointed Combs! The hanging sign on the wall is a plaque on the ceramic.

 Mahogany cases are from Prince Albert‘s brainchild, the 1851 Great Exhibition. Money change is still presented on a velvet pad!

 Bouquet De La Reine Eau de Toilette at £75 for 100ml, with The Queen and Prince of Wales’ arms. Lavish contents likely make it too costly as an Eau de Parfum, except perhaps by special order. The top notes are bergamot, peach, blackcurrant buds and violet leaf.
Heart notes are from jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, tuberose and ylang ylang with base notes from
oakmoss, sandalwood and vanilla.

 Queen Victoria’s marriage to Prince Albert from Series 1 of ITV’s hit “Victoria” starring Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes. This is the first authentic portrayal that is based on Her Majesty’s Diaries. She wrote several hundred words every day, giving an intimate and often surprising view of her life.
