Jubilee Paxton’s

Introduction
As Sir Winston Churchill once observed, “A gentleman only buys his cheese at Paxton and Whitfield”! As Royal Warrant holders, Paxton’s have put out the bunting for Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Hazle made a drawing in the early 1990s at the start of her company, issuing the ceramic in London on her 20th Anniversary in 2010.

 In 1742 Sam Cullen’s cheese stall was at Aldwych market. He moved to 93 Jermyn Street with Henry Paxton and Charles Whitfield, who became partners in 1797. Queen Victoria granted the first Royal Warrant in 1850. Both The Queen and The Prince of Wales grant them today.
