Introduction
Issued in 2002, the model is based on Gliddons, a Sidmouth family business for over 100 years. This unspoilt Regency town is on the Jurassic Coast - a World Heritage Site. The theme was shared with retired Old Curiosity Shop as an LP15. Just one is available of the 7-8 painted on this model.

 This Victorian building with its original lamp forms part of the Market Place. Marilyn remembers it as Gliddons Hardware in the 1950s with many items for sale hanging outside.

Sidmouth Folk Festival
Every August this small town is host to an international event. Singing and dancing around the streets, parks and the seafront creates a relaxed party atmosphere, enjoyed by all ages and nations. Many people visit but it never feels too crowded. The week coincides with fabulous floral displays for the Britain in Bloom contest, organised by Hazle collector and local hotelier Joy Seward.
