Introduction
For the 10th Anniversary in 2000, Hazle encouraged her painters to develop a theme of special interest. Eight very original paintings resulted, three of which had Limited Moulds. On this certificate painter Judy Brett “recalls happy Saturdays out with her father choosing fresh fish just in from the catch along the Suffolk coast.” Top floor flower boxes have been re-modelled as seaweed and shells, with the fisherman added on.

 A fisherman from Sidmouth Trawlers in Marilyn’s childhood town guts fish. The small fleet sells from huts as close to the sea as in the picture below.
