The Phantom Musical
Adapted from Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel, the deformed and masked composer Erik lives under the Paris Opera which he terrorises for money and the reservation of Box 5. His singing lessons behind a wall make Christine an opera diva. Erik composes an opera and sings with her when the male lead is killed. He captures Christine and her fiancé Raoul but releases them after she gives him a kiss, his only taste of love. The Phantom then disappears without his mask...

From a true story, Leroux set the Phantom in the late 1800s at the Opéra de Paris. 

 An adaptation of the novel.
